An Introduction to Grief Support: Tending to Grief Holistically
1h 6m
Join Leslie Conner in this free event as she guides you through working in harmony with the invisible world of grief using mindfulness and holistic healing practices rooted in End of Life Doula wisdom.
As one of the most defining and challenging parts of the human experience, grief demands our attention and care. Whether you are struggling through the initial stages of grief, or navigating the waves over a lifetime, we can all benefit from supporting ourselves with an inner toolbox of physical, intellectual, and emotional aides.
This introductory group session includes thirty minutes of lecture on the concept of holistic grief support (basically the what, why, and how of mindful grief work), and thirty minutes of guided all level practice (an intentional sequence of gentle movement, meditation, and hands on self-energy work).
Grief is a natural consequence of living and loving, and no grief is too big or too small for this space. This is a recording from a live event held in March 2021.
